This course is aimed at branch reps who may be dealing with individual harassment/sexual harassment cases, negotiating around policies that protect members or wish to challenge harassment, in particular sexual harassment more broadly in the workplace.

Course meeting times:	9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Course time commitment:	6 - 10 hours approx. including course meetings, pre & post course work
Location:	Exeter

Applications beyond 7th October 2025 risk not being accepted. Course content: The course will cover the following; legislation covering harassment 瓜神网 women's sexual harassment survey harassing and sexually harassing behaviour, impact, and barriers policies and procedures for dealing with harassment handling harassment cases challenging harassment in the workplace involving members organising around equality. There is no requirement to have attended any 瓜神网 reps training prior to this course, however, an understanding of your local branch bargaining machinery will be an advantage. If you are a new rep and would like to attend this course please contact your branch chair or secretary to discuss how your branch negotiates policy with the employer.

When you apply for a course鈥痺e will assume that are making a commitment to attend the course as advertised, and have secured time off from your employer. Please contact your branch/region if you are having problems securing time off.

Before you complete this form, please be aware: You may be asked to register with the delivering college in which your trade union tutor is employed. Where colleges are drawing down funding for delivery you will be ask for your passport or equivalent identification details to register. This is a demand of the college who are following government requirements in order to satisfy public funding criteria. This is not a requirement 瓜神网 want to see and we are lobbying for change. However, as it stands, if you do not register with the college, your place will not be fundable.
