Ofsted: A Culture of Fear and Anxiety

This report sets out the findings of an online survey of 瓜神网 members working in the further education sectors this includes further education colleges, adult and community education as well as prison education.
The report documents the experiences and perspectives of 瓜神网 members in relation to Ofsted and mock-Ofsted inspection.
瓜神网 members have grave concerns about the stress, anxiety and adverse impact on health and wellbeing they experience as a result of Ofsted inspections and preparation for an Ofsted inspection. Our findings show that Ofsted inspections create a major health and safety risk for staff who experience significant levels of stress and anxiety both during and in the lead up to inspections.
