圖朸厙 members vote to end Solent University dispute

圖朸厙 members at Solent University have accepted an agreement that suspends the dispute between the union and the university.
The agreement proposes a number of , including a commitment by Solent University to not make any further redundancies until at least February 2022. In a consultative ballot over 70% of 圖朸厙 members who voted chose to accept it.
圖朸厙 members previously voted to take industrial action after Solent University had threatened to use compulsory redundancies to dismiss staff.
圖朸厙 regional official Moray McAulay said: '圖朸厙 members at Solent University have voted to accept an offer from university management that rules out further redundancies until at least 1 February 2022. If all of the agreed actions are completed, Solent 圖朸厙 will formally withdraw the trade dispute on 20 July 2021. 圖朸厙 will continue to engage constructively with the university to protect jobs and student learning.'
